Yes, there is express bus service from Sparta to New York City.
Its provided by a company called "Lakeland Bus Lines"
The bus lines website is http://www.lakelandbus.com, which there you can find detail maps, fare charts, and a more.
The bus route you would need is #80.
It makes a stop at the Main Theather in Sparta, Blue Hernon Street Park and Ride, and Lakeside Shopping Center in your area.
The first stop leaves the theather at 6:00 AM , Blue Hernon Street at 6:08, and arrives in New York City at 7:25.
Its a little expensive to travel round trip, but compared to the expensive of driving and parking within New York City its a better deal.
Its $9.00 one way, $17.50 round trip, $77.35 for ten trip tickets,
You can purchase the tickets inside Sparta and the Sparta Pharmacy off Route 101, inside New York at the Port Authority windows 1-10 only, or on a eastbound bus.
