my computer has this prompt that says "windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted".........and then it logs me on to a "temporary profile", how do i retrieve all of my info?????? what happend??? HEEELLLPP! : ) thanks!!! : )

Welcome to the wonderful world of computers. Your information is more than likely not lost. Just because you logged in as another user all your stuff is still there. For example if you normally log in as USER1 and now you log in as USER2 if you go to Windows Explorer you will see Documents and Setting more than likely ( Assuming your using XP ). Under that you should see all the names of people that have an account on that machine.

You need to reinstall windows. Your windows files are messed up.
