I would keep giving her more and more varieties to choose from, maybe try some exotic type fruits or even make the food to look more appealing. They have cookbooks for children with some really cute snack ideas. like making animals out of fruit and pbutter things like that. good luck!

Just keep offering them to her. Put some on her plate at each meal. My kids are very stubborn and often turn their noses up at different foods. I don't make them try it but I ask them once during the meal if they will. If they say no, I say ok. Over time, the kids end up trying different things. If she is eating well other than fruit, I wouldn't try to substitute juice for fruit. Juice just doesn't have enough good qualities. She would probably be better off eating an extra serving of veggies or yogurt.

Couple ideas to sneak fruit in - put applesauce in oatmeal or baked goods. Use applebutter on her toast. Try "veggies" that are really fruits like tomatoes.

See if she will eat yogurt...even whipped yogart is yummy and easily swallowed for such a young age. My daughter loves yogart and fruit smoothies...she makes them with frozen fruit a splash of orange juice and a little condensed milk (don't know where she got that one from), but she loves them!

No..juices are not a good substitute at all. If she eats veggies I would not worry about the fruits.

Sometimes there are applesauces or juices that will say on the front "counts as one serving of fruit". I think that would be just as good as giving her whole fruits.

Also helps not to feed her until she's REALLY hungry. Don't give in to the whining or you will be turned into a short-order cook for the rest of your life. And don't worry, she won't starve to death if she refuses to eat one meal.

Try making her smoothies! Use yogurt, some crushed ice and desired fruit. You can tell her they are milkshakes!!

try sliced strawberries in her cereal, its tasty with Cheerios. or, if you must, Cheerios or Rice Crispys are good with sliced bananas. Blueberrys and strawberries are good in oatmeal.
Try making her a smoothie with fresh fruit in it. try raspberries and blueberries, strawberries and bananas, or other fruit.
Good luck!
