For the past couple of days my stomach won't tell me if i'm hungry or when I'm full. I don't feel hungry, but will suddenly be struck with hunger cramps, like you get when your stomach is completely empty. It also won't tell me if it's full, even if I've only eaten a PB&J sandwich, instead of telling me I'm full, I get the taste of bile in my throat. Normally that doesn't happen unless I just totally gorge myself on too many sweets or something, but this happens now even with bland food and when I KNOW I have not eaten enough food to actually be full. What on earth could be causing this?

Your pituitary gland regulates when you get hungry and when you feel full. As you get older, it goes a little whacky, and you hafta really, just eat several small things throughout the day. Thats what I do. CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE YOU BELIEVE ME! YOU MIGHT HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM, or a HYPOTHYROID PROBLEM!

Your brain is what tells you if your hungry or full not your stomach. If you are tasting bile in your throat you are refluxing and should see a dr.
