Is Splenda just another form of Aspertame?

It is already my opinion that ALL artificial sweeteners are bad for you. So why is it that so many people think Splenda is different/better than other Aspertames? Isn't it one and the same?

There are no tests done that tells us it is safe to consume. Splenda has gone through a chemical process, I bet you didn't know it contains chlorine? Artificial sweeteners are not good for you but I think you can use them in moderation and you should be alright. Whatever you do don't ditch sugar for these sweeteners. Try using natural sweeteners instead!

Yes it is. It's recommended for diabetics too. In the source below is the link to the tabbed page about Living with Diabetes on splenda.com's website.

When I was diagnosed earlier this year with insulin resistant diabetes, I was told to get rid of my regular sugar & switch to Splenda. It was a hard switch but I did it. I also use Sweet-n-Low & grew up on it. No, I don't have cancer from eating it. Tastes better than Equal.

You should avoid artificial sweetners. Stevia is a good sugar alternative.
