Most monotheistic religions view God as an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent being. This means that God has always existed, will always exist, exists everywhere simultaneously, can do anything, and knows everything. This would seem to negate the idea that anything could be more superior.

God did not evolve from a lower life, nor was he created. (by the way, there is no more superior "god". There is only one God.) God always was, always. He is, was, and is to come. He's just always been.

Obviously, logically, neither could be the case. The One who logically must have been the origin of the physical universe must therefore have preceded the physical universe, since a cause must precede its effect. Therefore there was nothing inferior that He could have evolved from. Logic also dictates that One who is the Supreme Being by definition, could not have a superior. That's what "supreme" means. Really guy, this is pretty basic.

God alone is immortal (1 Tim 6:16) and existed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began (Prov 8:23). So before the universe existed only God existed!

Cool.

If God was always here, then he/she/it COULDN'T have created the beginning because the beginning already had to have happened for him/her/it to be there, first of all. Secondly, this IS a good question, you genius you, and I for one believe that IF there was a God (or two or three) then he/she/it(/they) evolved from the same thing mosquitos evloved from because the whole subject has become nothing more than an annoyance.

He supposedly was just there i guess. Nothing created him he created everything else the universe and all. If you dont leave it at that you start getting into a debate over causation.

God is God. "As it was in the begining, is now and ever more shal be."

He wasn't created, he simply was. And then He spoke and the universe sprang into being.

God was always there to begin with. He created the beginning and the end.

sounds like a question for a mormon to answer.

God is, always has been, always will be. no begining and no end. Gos is Spirit and not flesh.

That is something not understood.
