Coke Zero is just another way of the Cocal Cola company getting money out of Aspartame Addicts.
Aspartame is by far the worst product on the market. The side effects are henious!
In 1992, the FDA were forced to release a list of 92 side effects associated with Aspartame. Ranging from Head aches to Death.
Do some research into Aspartame, the only websites taht say anything good are owned by the manufacturers or by people who were paid by the manufacturers (eg. Governments). Every independent test has shown it to be little more than Toxic Sludge.
It is NOT an 'Acquired' taste, it is a taste that you become addicted to.

Diet colas (including Coke Zero) contains aspartame which is a source of phenylalanine (a neurotoxin in large amounts). In some countries it also contains cyclomates which are carcinogenic. There is no scientific evidence that the other sweetener aspartame is causes cancer (see scientific paper below).
Plus Coke is not healthy for people in Columbia - according to the evidence given by the Columbia Solidarity Campaign and the Killer Coke campaign, Paramilitary death squads operate in Coca-Cola bottling plants against trade unionists with the compliance of the managers and to the benefit of Coca-Cola.

Caffeine, but if you don't drink too much of it, and if you drink plenty of water, which everyone should do, it won't do you any harm, unless you live in India near the Coke factory where they have damaged the water according to reports on bbc radio four.
Caffeine, also in tea and coffee dehydrates the body, that is why it is very important to drink plenty of water (about 4 pints a day).

I think the acid that "apple84" was looking for was phosphoric acid.
I receive an email about every other day from agora lifestyles, and they are not happy about artificial sweeteners.
Splenda was mentioned. made by Tate & Lyle the sugar people. apparently some molecules of sugar are modified by chlorine to produce a product resembling chc Clorinated hydro carbons which are a danger to the environment..
So what are they doing to people ?

Just look at the ingredients! Not a thing you will recognise- just a list of chemicals! That should tell u all u need to know.
Also, I read in the Metro a couple of weeks ago that women are being strongly advised not to drink any type of Coka Cola at all (diet or not) It contains something that weakens the bones and causes problems in later life. It doesn't affect men in the same way.

It contains Phosphoric acid, and the sweeteners include aspartame. Various campaigners claim that aspartame can be bad for your health, but nothing has been proved. A recent study (May 2006) by the European Food Safety Authority concluded that the evidence points towards aspartame being safe to you.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy for a science-heavy description of the controversy over aspartame.

Well, it cannot be good for you.It contains phenylalanine Most consumers don't know that too much Phenylalanine is a neurotoxin and excites the neurons in the brain to the point of cellular death.ADD/ADHD emotional and behavioral disorders can be triggered if you have too much of it in your diet. Phenylalanine makes up 50% of aspartame. It is also found in eggs, milk, bananas and meat. If you drink in moderation you should be fine!!
