Elephants are really into ploughman's lunches. So I check the Branston pickle, the pickled onions, and the pickled pickles, first.

It only happens when you have very fresh, very good crusty bread in the house, though, so only make or buy bread the same day you're going to eat it.

You'll notice a sticky slime on some of the foods.....usually if you stick a fake mouse in the fridge the elephant will go elsewhere.
