Which are taller on average, buildings in the financial district or midtown Manhattan?

Midtown - they aren't building as many new buildings in the financial district because it is already so congested down there.

But all the new buildings they put in midtown (Trump building by the UN, Time Warner Center) are really tall!

Midtown has more. . .but the new World Trade Center will be by far the tallest.

Mid-town has more tall buildings, and they are taller. Downtown they are all clustred closer to each other.
