i;ve ehard that you cant chew gum for too long
why not ?
and what happens if i do ?
is it a particular brand, flavor that this applies to ?

What happens is the flavour runs out and you're chewing a tough, flavourless piece of rubber.

well u can but ur jaws will hurt and the gum if chewed 2 long will get all funny(cnt describe it)but easy 2 swallow.

whoever you heard it from is just trying to freak you out. and from the looks of it, it worked. chew gum when you want, as much as you want, as long as you want

it screws up ur jaw
ur jaw is a joint and if u keep using it it will start hurting and it will be had to chew and/or bite anything
