I agree 100%!!!! The chance of all the predictions coming true is 10to the 54th power. That is pretty cool. It is amazing that He humbled Himself enough to become human and go throught the things he did, just to prove His Love for us.

No, I don't agree. The Bible is full of contradiction on many points. That is why Christianity has some many different sects and denominations. Although you point out things you think are consistent these things are also disputed amongst people. Is God holy when he sent a bear to kill and eat children for teasing a bald man? Or how about when he commands his followers to smash the heads of infants on rocks? Some Christians believe Hell is a physical place and others a state of separation from God. There is much Biblical scholarship about forgeries and later insertions, inconsistencies, failed prophecy, questionable authorship. Go read something by Earl Doherty or Bart Ehrman. There are many other sources of information.

The Word and Will of God may be found in some of the "modern" texts we refer to as The Bible. Unfortunatly no inerrant text of The Bible exists to day. The Only way God's Word and Will can be decerned today is by the leading of The Holy Spirit. If there is no leading of The Spirit there is no understanding... great care must be taken in study when only the "modern" texts are available and one has no, or limited, knowledge of the texts and translations they are taken from. I do not claim such knowledge myself so I am very careful in my study and in who I study with.... I must, like most today who honestly seek God's Will, rely on prayer for The guidence of The Holy Spirit.

if you just casually browse through it... it will seem like a book of legends & fairy tales...
if you read certain verses & passages...it will seem that some of them contradict each other...
if you have no faith in God (or are unsure of God) & you read the entire Bible...you will get knowledge & words of wisdom for daily living
but if you believe that there must be a God, & this God wanted to talk to me, in a way that my mortal mind can understand...& if you read through other related manuscripts and history books that support certain things stated in the Bible... then you will not only believe the Bible, but also believe in what the Bible wanted to tell you... & this belief in the Bible will come in stages as you begin to take what many people might call your leap of faith.
& it begins with that single first step... belief in the Creator of the Universe.

Everything in some way can be inspired by God even misinterpretation. God=>Universe or all of the knowledge thereof past present and future. I think it's consistently misinterpreted. To error is human. God created man in his own......imagination.

I believe the Bible 100%
And when one considers the range of time and geography, and the many diverse personalities to put it in writing, it is absolutely amazing.
ADDED:
To those who have read it and disagree, that is your choice.
To those who have never read, considering the influence it has had throughout history, and the high esteem in which so many hold it, should you not at the very least consider what it has to say?
You should not disbelieve it because of ridiculers.
You should not believe it because of believers.
You should read it and prayerfully consider the message there, and then decide based on that.

no i dont agree. define holy, when the bible shows god murdering people all over, and explains that god is murderous, angery, jelous, and creates evil. god gave power to man to kill other man (power and the "ok"), god himself killed many people. i musta missed where this god was holy ?
(i can back up any of those points with a verse, if youd like to see the verse feel free to email me)

Do I believe the Bible exists?
Of course
As for consistency, perhaps you have a different version than I.

There are undeniable historical facts to the bible but not every "i" or "t" is accurate therefore should not be taken wholeheartedly literal to the point of exhaustion.

Disagree with all of it. It is not consistent, it does not all talk about the same sins and the same salvation, and it is mostly a work of fiction, and plagiarized fiction at that.
