Not priority - Priory of Sion.
The Prieuré de Sion, usually rendered in English translation as Priory of Sion (occasionally as 'Priory of Zion'), is an alleged thousand-year-old cabal featured in various conspiracy theories, as well as being listed as a factual ancient mystery religion in the bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It has been characterized as anything from the most influential secret society in Western history to a modern Rosicrucian-esque ludibrium, but, ultimately, has been shown to be a hoax created in 1956 by Pierre Plantard, a pretender to the French throne. The evidence presented in support of its historical existence has not been considered authentic or persuasive by established historians, academics, and universities, and the evidence was later discovered to have been forged and then planted in various locations around France by Plantard and his associates. Nevertheless, many conspiracy theorists insist on the truth of the Priory's role as a powerful secret society.

I saw the movie and read the book.
The Priority is a religious group within the general church of keeping a secret about Jesus.
At this time no one knows what is true and what is not based on the book and the movie. In real life I have no clue.

You mean Opus Dei? That was the extreme Catholic religious sect that was spoken about in the book. They practice whipping themselves and wearing the chalice on their upper thighs, however not as extremely as was discussed in Dan Brown's novel. While some Opus Dei members do go to that extreme, it's quite rare.

Nope. It's all fiction. The author of the book openly admits it. It's also considered by many Christians to be offensive and blasphemous.

My way of protesting a movie is by not watching it. I don't have to riot or vandalize or commit arson or support a death threat to the author of the book to make my point. Christians don't do that, not even when someone makes a CARTOON of him.

I just love this:

Beka says: " haven't read or seen it. All I know is that it has a LOT of errors in it, and is DEFINITELY a work of fiction."

Are you psychic Beka?? Or do you just believe everything you are told?
