it should be o.k. as long as the wick dries enough to light.You can't hurt the wax with water.look how many kind they make for use in a pool or the bath.

Hold a match over the wick. Within about 10 seconds the water evaporates and the candle can light.

You can get a candle wet all day long,but a quality candle will light right up!

There should not be any problem in using your candle after it is dry.

dry out the wick it will be fine
