Nature will not allow the world to become "deathly" overpopulated. When a species exceeds an enviroments capacity to support it, the environment culls the species. It happens all the time. Humans think that because we are intelligent, reasoning, self-aware creatures this rule doesn't apply, but that is just our human arrogance.

Nature "aborts" pregnancies for various reasons. Humans behavior is also a mechanism of nature. Humans like to think we are not part of nature's plan because we invented gods and religion. Poppycock! We are just another part of the grand scheme of life on earth, AS IS EVERYTHING WE DO.

We may think to ourselves that abortion is horribly wrong because of the moral and ethical fabric we've woven, but nature could care less about our ethics. If abortion jeopardized our species, we wouldn't be here, so clearly it's "okay."

"became"? it *IS*. Abortion has nothing to do with it regardles. It is not a matter of population, it is a far more complex matter. It is also irrelevent. Women have been aborting babies since before written history. There are several herbs used in early pregnancy to do the job, failing that in recent history, a metal coathanger. It doesn't matter if you think it's ok. It jsut matters whether or not you really want these women to risk their lives in this abortion or not.

I'm pro-choice. Part of the reason I'm pro-choice is overpopulation. Some people may hate me for saying this, but oh well, it's a free country: There are too many people on this planet. America is only 5% of the world, but we consume 80% of its resources. Think about that for a minute and let it stew in your brain.

of course not. "anti choice" people don't care what happens to the baby once it's born. it can live in abject poverty starving to death for all they care. they only care that a woman is forced to give birth to it. after that the baby and the mother are on their own. and the Earth can become a polluted overpopulated hell hole for all they care since most of them think they'll be raptured and escape the mess they helped create anyway. "pro life" my eye

Yes we have to have a way for populations control besides execution.

I would rather a mother abort a potential serial killer then wait unti he kills kids and then execute him

If the world were over crowded then crime would be up and people would not complain about execution so lets stop the crime before it happens

I'm pro-choice but I think the first line of defense in overpopulation and family planning should be birth control and we should be doing more to help people be responsible in their family planning.

It already is overpopulated and abortion is already okay. People who say no are irrational control freaks.
