I haven't smoked marijuana in over a year and a half. I only took a couple of hits back then also. Before that time it had been 10 years. I never use. I did in the first week of sept and now I got hair tested for work on Nov 26. Im nervous! Please respond asap!

Traces of THC will remain in your hair until it is cut off. You aren't a regular user and it's likely that your 1 time use in September won't even show up in your hair test. The testers are likely looking for a certain level of concentration to indicate regular usage because traces could appear even if you haven't smoked any but been in the same room while it was being smoked. I wouldn't worry about it because worrying won't change the results.

If you ever smoked you will fail this test its not like a piss test if you smoked a year ago chances are its in your hair still. THe only way to beat this test is to shave your head but then they will take hair from other parts of your body sorry bud but things aren't looking to good for you.

every body is different, I smoke pot every day and I smoked the day before I got tested. . . I passed. I drank lots and lots of water before I went in. I didn't have the hair test, it was just a pee test. But usually pot stays in your system from 30 days.

Yes it will show. There will be a small level of THC in your sample but not enough for your employer to freak out about. Hair is a more reliable source for a sample because you can flush your system but your hair holds onto the toxins.

the hair follice test can detect marijuana use for OVER 90 DAYS.
however, if the amount is minimal, you MAY still pass.

hair testing is hard to get around...
it looks for very minuscule quantities
of whatever thay are testing for.
They may not even be testing for THC.
(did you ask what they were checking for?)

they say it takes 30 days to completely be out of your system. I would say you are ok, but just keep praying.
