Shane: They are not conceived sperately. They actuall split apart from ONE zygote. after conception.

The Lord would know each at the conception and supply two souls. Do you think he would not know that it was going to split?

Yes, that's right, twins are clones and only have half a soul at most. This is the main reason that cloning is such a bad idea. Plus, all you have to do is watch the movies where clones are involved to see what can go horribly wrong. Maybe only one of the twins gets the soul... never heard of the 'evil' twin?

Excellent question.
I personally believe that the soul enters the body upon first breath. But hey if people want to believe that there are identical twins walking around with one half a soul each, though silly, that's OK with me.

the soul is not "gained" at conception, so its not an issue.
and you are your soul... and your body is a vessel you are in.
its more that you gain your body when you chose, and when its ready for you to enter it.
