Don't mention anything about paying. You should offer to pay next time around. If he is a real gentleman he will pay with no problems at all. GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY THE MOVIE.

Don't assume that he should pay. While most men would be happy to pay for both tickets, if he sees you offer to pay for your own ticket it shows him that you're not with him just to get the freebies, even if he insists on paying. It's the thought that counts.

Just do it like this. When you go to get your tickets, take your purse out as if your going to pay for your ticket, most men will probably say something along the lines of "Put your purse away, this is my treat." Then, as your walking away from the box office counter, just say "Thank you, but let me get the drinks and popcorn. That'll be MY treat."

I think most guys would be happy with that, but if he says no, that might be just a little worrying. Someone like that sounds like he has a problem with male pride and also that he's trying too hard to impress. Simply paying for everything is no way to impress a girl (unless he's looking for a gold digger).

I always have money with me when I go out, so I'm not caught in a position I don't want to be in. If he asked you out, it's not improper to assume he's paying your way (unless the offer was to go "dutch").

However, if you've dated him before and feel like you'd like to offer to pay for y'alls movie (or make a contribution) that wouldn't be inappropriate either...

Do what feels right...I know a lot of guys that appreciate a woman offering to pay or contribute, even if they don't let them...it lets them know she doesn't see them as just a free pass for food/entertainment...

If he asked you then you should let him pay... but if you offer to pay and he lets you then you know not to go on a date with him anymore.

If he goes ahead of you in the queue, let him pay and offer to pay, thank him and ask if he wants anything to eat. It's always a difficult one, but if he gets arsey about something like that he's not worth dating anyway!

Are you about 23 years old? Just guessing, from your name! I would let him pay and say 'What drink and sweets would you like - i'll get them!'

Next time, offer to pay saying 'Oh you paid last time, so i will this time'

If you feel like you want to then offer to pay, if he insists on paying then say OK then and get the popcorn or say I'm paying next time !.

It is better to offer to pay. If he is a good guy, he will decline, but will see that your not just along for a free ride. Trust me he will not get mad that you offered but may think about it if you don't.

I always offer to pay for my own ticket so he doesnt think that he owns you but I think if he was a gentleman then he would pay.
