I am waiting on the slow government on my disability case for over 2 years, and they have driven me to this.

no, they will not write it off! You need to consolidate them or at the very least start making small payments. Contact the credit cards (or whomever you are in debt to) to see if they will lower some payments of take off your late fee's. See if they can lower interest rates. This will stay with you forever... it wont go away. not until you die...so you may as well try to do something for it.

a write off only works for the credit company. you will still have to pay.

time for a bankruptcy lawyer. call up some in your area and ask away many questions.. make an appointment with the one you feel best with.

this lawyer will give you the rundown on this and that and tell you what your rights are.

then they'll ask you what you wish to do... bankruptcy doesn't mean you have to file for chapt 7 or file all the creditors you owe. you have many options.

you are qualified by the way to file..

also this will stop them from harrassing you.

tell the lawyer what your problem is.. they'll help you.

the write off only serves the companies... it's insurance to cover your account with them.. it's claimed to cover their losses not yours.

write offs are good news for them.. bad news for you.

call a lawyer.. they're cheap!
i did 4 years ago. i'm so glad..

my health was failing and i was 50k in debt. i still have credit too.. and i filed chapt 7 on all my cards and debts.

do it.. you got to.. especially since they will write you off shortly.

:D

you'll be happier.

and it's not scarey at all.. matter of fact the more the lawyer told me the better i felt.. my rights were being violated and the lawyer called all my companies and told them to stop and boy they did stop.. then i paid him the $1000..... $200 was for the trustees and $800 for him and he took a payment plan.. with in 2 months i was free.. 5 minutes with the trustee and it was over... then i got my notice i was discharged and i didn't hear anything more out of anyone.

the lawyer did call a few times to ask me if the harrassment began again.. and told me to call him whenever i had a problem or a question.

it was wonderful.. i was soooo happy i did it...

he got a wine gift basket from me for xmas thanking him.

my credit is back to C+ now.. :D

he told me what to do and helped guide me to get my credit repaired also.

there's so much you need to know....

getting a hold of a good bankruptcy lawyer will sure educate you, enlighten you and you'll be able to sleep finally.

it really was a great idea for me..

i never been happier.

no fooling.

It will never be completely written off, they will get it from you somehow.
