could be cysts.. get to the dermatologist have him scope that region for you.
do you have bumps on your arm pits by the way? or do they get sore?
just wondering.
do get a dermatologist.. this is coming from the inside out.. could be anything from a diet issue.. to allergy pertaining to diet or there's something in your water... ?
let them check that out.. and do up a simple skin or blood test.
then go on from there.. do this because of a precautionary element.. just in case there's something going on and could lead to other problems.. it would be alot off your mind...
he could also ask you to see a doctor to do the same thing.. in case he wants another report to ensure he's not missing something.
or it could be something very simple.
:D
do it.. you will not be sorry.
and you'll be more happier in the long run.. most issues like this are easily curable.

I had a similar problem in my teens. Mine lasted for a couple of months and everytime I think it would go away it came back. My solution was to use a mild scrub in the form of a poof. It worked wonders. My back/shoulders cleared up within a few weeks. Another thing too, I started using body wash instead of soap. Many claim that soap is actually really harsh on the skin and would normally dry it out which I found out is quite true. Added to which I exfoliate my skin completely twice a week with St. Ives medicated scrub. Its for the face I know but it cleans like nothing else for all over body skin. Also keep the back and shoulders moisturized and eat healthy foods, take vitamins and get enough exercise but most of all pratice good hygiene. If anything that you use doesn't work check with a doctor.

You need to go back to the Dr. Reoccuring bumps or cysts can be staph infections. Have the Dr look at the area and let him know how long it has been there. Try washing your back with an antimicrobial wash like hibicleanse once a day until you see the Dr
