I also am a young mother (23) and have a 3 year old and 14 month old boy/girl twins. and I will say that they are very hyper! there is never a day that goes by that they dont do something new. as im sure you have the same. I have mine on a schedule. not a writen minute by minute schedule or even an hour to hour schedule. The schedule is prety leaniant during the day but when it gets to 3pm then its pretty set. at 2pm we take naps, wake up by 530 then we eat dinner from dinner straight to bath, from bather we play untill 8pm then it is bed time. I know most bedtime rituals say no sleeping past such and such time buy we have done this for a good 10 months now and have no problem sleeping threw the night. my oldest does attend preschool. we do play alot. dont give them alot of sugar. Family or friend support is also great if you have it. my husband works 2nd shift so he is gone at night which for me is great oneless person to take care of. but when ever a friend or family calls and says do you need anything. i never turn them down. even if its a friend coming over for dinner and when they call i look in the fridge and make sure i have enough milk for the rest of today and the next and if not i ask for them to pick me up a gallon of milk and repay them. give the boys acctivities to do draw, paint, color. age appropriate acctivites. and the number one thing that i can tell you to help make your days weeks, months go by easier is love the fact that we are young mommies, and dont listion to the people that say "well maybe you should rethink your actions" God dosent give you any thing you cant handle. OH AND ALSO ENJOY THEM THEY GROW UP SO FAST!!!

you have you hands full and i don`t know how you do it.
Do you have family support?Friends?
what you can do is to find a friend or family member to take your twins for a couple hours to get u a break the moore rested u are the more you can handel.
How old are the twins?
One thing i know you can do to get them settle down is to go out the the playground at least once a day let them run scream etc. and you just chill on the bench for a while.
When you return home they are gonna be tired so menay a nice movie etc gives you a hour or two of quiet time until the start again.
I feel for u time will go by ...it wil be better...they will start school etc.
Good luck!!

Give them healthy or sugar free snacks to reduce the hyperactivity. Set a nap time (take one to) and a bed time for them. On nice days take them outside and let them run.
This really helped me out. I also had 3 kids when I was 19 and went to college full time.

Join a MOPS group or another sort of group of moms that get together for playtime. The interaction with other kids might help calm them down and you'll get to meet new people and share stories with other moms.

Engage them in an activity. Coloring, or blocks, play with them- I loved doing that with my older children and with my baby now. It's hard to enjoy this time as you are really tired from your newborn. I'm proud of you for choosing life for your children! Hopefully, when you get some extra time, you can use it to sleep instead of making more babies!
