The real question remains...will the religions save the humanity? Or science? or Humanity? / What is above all these?

No one religion will save humanity. Only UNITY of all religions will save humanity.
Unity does not mean we all have to believe the same way. It means we have to love one another, and accept our differences.
God loves diversity! If he didn't we wouldn't have people and animals of all different shapes and colors. Everything would be the same.
Let us celebrate our differences. YIPEEE!!!

I don't think any religion will save humanity. Reason might. Although I think personal beliefs may enrich and guide individuals you will never get a world where everyone shares one religious belief and thus religion will always be a source of friction between groups. I think we need to take a clue from Spock and start applying more logic to our collective efforts while respecting our individual/personal differences. We should require logical arguments that can stand independent of religion when it comes to the public sphere and society. Although I love science, I know that it is just a tool used by humans, thus it can be used as poorly as religion often is.

Only man can save himself, not some make believe deity that lives in the sky.
We have seen enough death and destruction caused by religion to last an "eternity", no pun intended.
If you are confused then do a little research into religion, a good place to start would be "The Root of All Evil - The God Delusion".
Its a movie by Richard Dawkins which explores the feasability of religion.

I agree with the Phoenix Flame answer. Religion has caused most if not all war, and has played a part in every conflict on earth. I think that God still exists though, there is too much around us to think otherwise.
The bible shows that the true religion will not war, will have a great love among itself and recognize the bible as the only authority of God on earth, and not wash down its principles or moral values. All you have to do is look for the religion that fits this description. Try this site

So far we have seen man screw things up.Especially in the last fifteen years.Man has tried to make things better,but keeps getting it worse.
Muslims will not save the world simply because the radicals are over on one side converting people to Islam by the sword cutting' off heads of the people who don't.The other group of Muslims will be so cowed down they won't even be able to breathe without worrying about getting in trouble.
The Holy Bible that Christians should be adhering to provides a solid foundation that can never be moved.The ten commandments give us positive rules that we can live our lives by.
Yes,the christian way would be better.But,it's supposed to be screwed up like this in the end times.

Yes it is religion which is saving humanity from the very beginning though many wars have been fought in the name of religion but we can't blame religion for that. Human beings are responsible, who are messing up things according to their own views.
Fire was invented to give us warmth, light and for cooking. Fire haven't asked anybody to come and burn yourself in my flame. It is human being who did the wrong and get hurt. Same way religion is for the benefit of human beings and if we don't utilize it then it is not the fault of religion but it is the very fault of us-the human beings.

science can never save humanity as science is the biggest threat to humanity ( just keeping its negative points in mind) n religions .....i dont feel that for religions too coz peoples r always at fight with each other on religion issues.....Only humans can save humanity. good, devoted, sincere, kind n loving humans who can get power somehow n ,ll save the humanity

The only thing that will save humanity is humans, Religions have proven over the centuries to be the one thing truly capable of dividing nations and people, hence destroying humanity and creating cretins like you.

All are trying their best to destroy the human beings, The question of humanity will not arise when there will be no human beings. In this regard, science and religions are to blamed particularly. Atheists will not be able to help.

there isnt enuf space2answer this1. are you aware,that muslims have a 100year plan to conquer the world? i dont think any religion will solve the world problems, i just believe that faith will get you right with God. but not all religions can be right. muslims kill in the name of God......does God need ''man'' to do his work like that? God is capable of striking anyone down,whether it be heart attack or otherwise. he doesnt need muslims to do so. muslims believe israel is their land,and the jews say the same...so this tells you that war will go on in middle east forever,until the last day. 80% of prophesies in bible have passed,most of the end day prophesies have gone....says alot. i think the war loving,greedy governments,and non religious people will end this world sooner,NO one will save it. it is up to each of us to save ourselves....this lifetime is a day old compared to eternity......we dont die after this...life isnt a board game,where we have our go,lose,and fade out. no way. if trees live for over 200 years and so do tortoises,then i think theres more for us after!! no one will save this world,only God/Jesus will step in when the time is right and say ''enough is enough'' and then take His people....the rest,are doomed. it is said that near the very end,there will be peace for 7years,but it will be false peace,but a false leader,whom claims to come in peace,but will actually be deceiving people. this is the anti christ......and according to the best sourse,the bible,these days are closer,much closer than we think. the ''mark;; of the anti christ/devil,will be a chip,implanted in the skin,and money will be no more.....and as i speak, this method is being tested over the world. see for yourself. the last government will be made up of clay and iron=powerful countries and those of africa and less well off countries=which is the UN....its scary but real...dont listen to the top answer....islam the religion of God?
