I am not a doctor nor is this "advice" but it sounds like you have an infection of some type....IF it were me..I recommend going to the HEALTH food store...getting some Vit C ...and Echinacia? Not sure how to spell that Echinaccia & Goldenseal (it comes in a dropper bottle) and either eat Garlic..or better get some garlic pills also at the healtfood store....:)
This should handle it...Oh and don't forget to drink TONS of water...AND if you do that...and it doesn't go away in about 3 day or at least get alot better...OR if it gets worse (which it probably won't) I would go to the doctor :)

You do not have to have your tonsils removed. It is probably just a virus. If you get any worse, see your doc or if you are really worried about any other sypmptoms, see him. Otherwise, just get some rest and drink plenty of fluids (it doesn't have to be orange juice, it could be water or Powerade, whatever you feel like, as long as it isn't soda) and have some broth or soup. I also find that whatever comfort food you like (meatloaf, potatoes, pasta, roasted veggies, whatever) helps you feel better. Try a warm bath too. It will help you realx and feel better. Hope this helps!

what probably happened is that ur inflamed tonsil blocked the austacian tube and led to otitis media (infection of the middle ear)
how old r u? this usually occurs in the younger age group
treat the main problem and the secondary will be solved, before getting chronic

YourShop knows some good stuff! Try gargling with hot very salty water with a cap full of hydrogen peroxide. You sound like strep throat, a little...can you see blisters on your tonsil? Feel better.
