I've noticed that there are people who grow their hair real fast even after a trim, but for some it takes them so long to grow their hair ... Has anyone else noticed that?

Well when you get a trim it takes those split ends off which stops your hair from splitting and breaking further up the hair shaft. You should get a trim every 3 months even when your growing your hair out. Also to help your hair grow more i wouls suggest root stimulation, meaning brushing your hair focusing on the scalp, this frees up debris clogging the follocle as well as bringing blood to the surface of your scalp promoting growth. People are all so different, the normal or i should say most common hair growth is a half inch a month.

it's a number of factors.. heredity, health, diet.. the type of hair you have.. the race you are.. climate..

:D

caucasian hair grows the fasted (in general) african hair (in general) grows the slowest.

but as you know it depends on the individual and their health.. if they're on medications.. what they eat and what they have to wash their hair with.. if the water is heavily treated with chemicals that also will effect hair durability...

just treat your body as best as you can and use materials for your hair that pampers it the best it can and your hair will improve.

generally that is.

also there's a process of the hair growth where one persons hair will grow only just past their shoulders then that's it.. no matter how hard you try that's as far as it will grow.. the hair breaks off at that point and regenerates at that point.

others have a longer trait.. some will have hair that will reach their knees or even the ankles or MORE depending on how strong the hair is and the stopping point. i wish i could key it up properly in google.com to explain to your further.. and the name of this process.

but this is the best i can do for you:

Sure I've noticed.

Different times of year, and different people. Everybody is
different. One person can grow hair twice as fast as another.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fast grower.

Nor, do I have thick hair.

Hope you are happy with your hair!

Mostly it's in the genes. We cannot do much about it, other than taking a more hair-friendly diet, rich in proteins (hair is made of protein) and leafy greens (great source of minerals and vitamins). Also, doing physical exercise and being fit helps.

hair never grows faster than 3/4 inch per month...no matter what you do, unless you are on some medications with side effects...it just seems like their hair grows faster because they are not getting it trimmed as often and they get less cut off when they do

Some people expel the waste matter that constitutes hair faster than others.

why are some people taller than others?

why are some people darker than others?

why do some people have different resting heart rates than others?

why do some people have straight or curly hair?

because every human being is unique and different, obviously.
