It sure is opening the eyes of the Americans that belong here. We're seeing that these people don't want to be Americans. They just want to be here and benefit from our prosperity while not following our laws and demanding things from us to which they are in no way entitled. It is defintely not helping them.

Its definitely hurting their illegal cause.When Mr and Mrs Middle America saw them marching and chanting and disrespecting this nations laws they were awakened from the peaceful security.Then to see their nations symbol ,the American flag,desecrated by illegals and their supporters ,they were wide awake.
They are the real voters,the back bone of this nation,they care about this country and what it stands for.
The illegals have awakened middle America the heart land of this nation ,and they are NOT happy.Before the marches etc theses people may have felt pity for the illegal alien and wondered why it was such a problem.But now they have educated them selves to the issue and they will vote and they will cast their vote for the good of the legal Americans.The desecration of the flag and the remarks of La Raza and others has done the most to make most legal Americans against any illegal aliens.
I wish to add something here.When I speak about La Raza and other radical groups,I don't want you to think that all Hispanics legal or illegal are backers or supporters of these groups.Just as not all white people support or back the ignorance of the kkk or any other white power group..If I inadvertently sounded like I thought all Mexicans
were please understand ,it was not my intention.If you were offended by this please accept my apologies.

I think it's hurting their cause. Americans are tired of people who refuse to acclimate to our culture and yet wanting all the benefits of an American. Not only that but they demand that we assimilate to their culture by providing signs in Spanish, etc. It's ridiculous. They want to say that we 'need' them, we have plenty of people out of work who could take those positions. I have no problem with immigrants who are here legally and are trying to learn the language and embrace the culture that they have CHOSEN to join. It's obnoxious to come to a country and then talk about how proud you are of your country and culture and refuse to do anything to become a productive member of this culture. If you're so proud of your country, why did you leave? I think the protests, etc. are just making Americans more angry.

hurting their case. And I am unaware of any riots. Their are protesters which is legal but not helping their cause. It actually makes legitimate immigrants think that these people don't care about the law.

Definitely hurting. Many Americans actually felt pity for them until they made such fools of themselves on May 1st. They acted so stupid. I can't believe that even they didn't see how insulting America and our flag would turn so many against them.

Her in CA it is only hurting them....they have made it very clear that they (a majority of them) do not want to assimilate into the American way of life- most want us to bend-over for them. All this 'cause "us white folks" won't do the "back-breaking" work that they do.

they are only hurting their cause.........it might be different if they were marching with American flags.....maybe if their signs were in English...but they aren't.......they are showing who their loyalty lies with and reinforcing their refusal to integrate into American culture....united we stand divided we fall.
