Many of GM vehicles are using sealed transmissions. They no longer have dipsticks in the transmission. I wonder who the dipstick was that thought it was a good idea.

The only way to check these transmissions is to have them on a level surface and there is a fill hole that is opened.

To make matters worse, you need to check this when everything is warm.

Open the fill hole and the fluid should be at the top and just beginning to drip out. If it's not dripping out add more fluid.
