Many of the questions as well as the answers on here make me think that people talk just to talk. You are putting down a group of people that have a great influence in the daily lives you lead. How many of you go and eat Mexican food? How many of you use products made in Mexico? How many of you can sit there and not feel bad as you eat the fruits and vegetables picked by those people you consider "lazy Mexicans"? Ask yourself, how much of all the comments you hear actually have something to back it up. You are labeling a whole race, the Mexican People, by what a small portion of people are doing. So my question to you is, how can you be so damn hypocritical??

I am not trying to point fingers at any one, but look back at most of the questions asked here and you will see that the Mexican race is targeted. I am not trying to label anyone, did you see me mention the "American People" as a whole.. NO.. I only mentioned the people making and answering questions in which they are degrading my people!!!!
And to Chaz S, if you look closely all of the question that I asked in Spanish are posted in Yahoo Mexico... And no it is not racist to post my questions in Spanish when I am doing so in the MEXICAN FORUM!!!
I apologize if my question isulted those who respect the Mexican People that share our daily lives, this question wasnt for you. This question is for all those attacking a whole race becuase of the actions of a few people.

people dont think things thru rationally. It is a human attribute when emotion is involved.
i POSTED THE QUESTION ,WHO WILL PICK THE LETTUCE AND SUCH IF THERE ARE NO ILLEGALS?
a LOT OF RIDICULOUS ANSWERS i CAN ASSURE YOU.
The US is the promised land.Of course there are people trying to get in any way they can.How anyone can feel negative towards these peolple is beyond me because if the roles were reversed they would be trying to do the same thing.
The world consists of mostly people who earn less tha 2$ a day. That is a simple fact.We are absolute selfish consumers and want it all and the hell with the other guy.Therein lies the route for hypocrisy.

I´m not hypocritical. I live in Mexico and most of my neighbors and co-workers hire maids because the labor here is so cheap, so Mexicans are exploiting other Mexicans and hiring other Mexicans to do the jobs middle class Mexicans won´t do. Now who´s the hypocrite?
As for eating Mexican food, that has nothing to do with the immigration issue, and if they´ll pay me 15 bucks an hour, yeah I´ll pick fruit!

I am not hypocritical, so you must be talking to someone else. I have no problems with Mexicans. I have always had a fondness for cute mexican women while most Mexicans that I have met are hard workers.
When I went to Mexico though, things were not so good for the people. There were some serious slums once you got out of the tourist traps. Maybe if some of the illegal Mexican immigrants would wait in line like the rest of the world does before the come to America, and spend that time helping their communities, then maybe they would be able stay in their own country and live prosperous lives instead of breaking the law and becoming a fugitive in order to live prosperously.

I am not hypocritical at all. The Mexican restaurants are owned by legal immigrants otherwise they would not get through all the red tape required before opening a restaurant. Products from Mexico are legal (customs, taxes etc.). You are labeling a whole race of Americans with your remarks. I don't think we are hypocritical as a race. All the comments you may be referring to are about illegals!!! Like anything else if it has the title illegal then it means against the law..... IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MEXICO OR MEXICANS AS A RACE. Read your own question again and educate yourself before to defame this country.!!!!

You ask most of your questions in Spanish and you call us hypocritical? Isn't is racist to exclude everyone who doesn't understand Spanish from answering your questions? Last I checked this was the USA questions forum, and if you want to be understood by the majority, you must speak the language of it. I stopped eating at Mexican restaurants when I realized that most of the food was being prepared by illegal aliens. If they won't learn English, how can I trust them to learn food sanitation? I don't know what products made in Mexico you are referring to us using? Most of our products are made in China or Korea. The Mexican govt. imports over 40,000 illegal immigrants from other countries to do the work in Mexico that they claim Mexican citizens are too lazy to do. When I say Mexican illegal alien, I am not referring to an entire race. I am referring to citizens of Mexico. I have American friends of Mexican decent whose parents or grandparents came here legally and learned our National language which our constitution was written in. They are not Mexican, they are Mexican American. There is a difference between dispising an entire race and condemning the actions of a corrupted country and it's opportunistic citizens. People who are too lazy to follow the laws and come here legally or learn the majority language do not influence me. They disgust me and insult legal citizens who have acclimated. Damage caused to LEGAL Mexican Americans is done when they are confused for illegal aliens. Mexico is a country with no laws to protect children. Mexico is a country that encourages it's poorest, most illiterate citizens to abandon ship and run for the border.
Fact:Mexico is the wealthiest country in Latin America, yet it's population is 40% below the poverty level.
If I want Mexican food I can have dinner with any of my legal Mexican American friends. I will never visit Mexico because the crime rate is so high there. Besides, I can stay home and get ripped off by the citizens of Mexico on a daily basis, I don't need to go to Mexico for that.

And when was the last time you stopped patting yourself on the back for being such a great person and said "thank you" to someone of descent other than your own. you accuse the world of being hypocritical, take a look at yourself. Everyone should look within for the greater good of all of us. It doesn't make any sense for you sit there and accost all of us for the downtrodden Mexican public at large, while they at the same time tell me how lazy I am. We should all try to "get along" together. I tell you what you go to work today and thank an American born person for the work they do and I will thank the three Mexican born persons working side-by-side with me today, and everyday.
LET'S START SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My view on the whole "lazy Mexican" thing is that if they make an effort to speak English and actually apply for a visa or citizenship their fine. I expect them to follow the same laws as American's as we (paying taxes.)
And as for your other questions..
I don't like Mexican food...
I only buy products made in the USA...
I how can you eat fruits and vegitables and not think about the HUNDREDS of AMERICAN workers who can't get work because the migrant workers will always work for less???

I'm not trying to do anything of the sort. I am opposed to illegal immigration and want border security and dismantling of the employment and benefit magnets that bring illegals here, along with interior enforcement. I want all twice illegal and all gang member illegals deported. I want our law changed so citizens whose PARENTS were not born here or legal permenant residents at the time of their birth can not bring in family under reconciliation provisions of immigration law, to stop the gaming of our laws by having babies here when the parents aren't legally here to begin with.
I want that applied across the board to illegals, of whatever nationality, and I have no problem with Mexicans legally here whatsoever.

1. I don't eat in Mexican restaurants, last time I did it was found out that a Mexican worker had hepatitis, other workers reported that he never washed his hands after using the john, everyone that ate there had to get hepatitis shots.
2.I don't buy anything made in Mexico
3.I pick and grow my own fruits and vegetables.I'm not too lazy to go to the orchard and pick them myself or to plant and pick my own garden.
They have no great influence in my life except for the taxes I have to pay to support them.

I eat Mexican food but Taco bell will be here even after the deportations and the only thing they do for my life is add to my taxes. Look my boyfriend is Mexican father is a LEGAL immigrant makes him legal cause he was born here and even he wants them deported so taco bell or no taco bell I can make it on my own, plus I now can make mexican food all by myself, oh yea and about hte stuff made in mexico< it was MADE IN MEXICO not here but that doesnt mean it was made by a mexican anyway so whatever. I heard someone saying earlier that they pay guatemalans a lower wage to work in Mexico. Anyway. get your facts straight and then come back in here and talk noise.
