People can say what they like, or call it what they like.. Dreamland, Groom Lake . the more common, but what happens there isn't really known. It's where they supposedly built and tested the SR-71 Blackbird in the 60' & 70's the worlds fastest spy plane. It flew higher than any other. They also during the 60's developed saucer like aircraft.. more like hoovercrafts. as new airplanes, but could never get them to stabilize themselves in order to fly. They always flipped over. They actually got the idea from the Nazi's. They had blue prints the defected Nazi's brought back with them. Yea the US forgave certain Nazi's because of their scientific value to the country! Area 51 is an abandonded test facility.. yea there is still an active contingant there but it no longer holds secrets it use to. The place is too popular as a UFO hot spot. If you wanted to keep secrets and hide stuff would you put it where everyone is looking? For the reverse psychologists out there I dont think they would put it there just because its expected to be there as the ultimate hide and seek!! Hope it helps you a little. but Area 51 kinda has its own personality for everyone.. kinda like santa claus.. it means something different to everyone.

Area 51 (currently known as Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3 and also known as Dreamland, Watertown Strip, Paradise Ranch, The Box, Groom Lake) is a remote tract of land in southern Nevada, owned by the United States Air Force, containing an airfield whose primary purpose is the secret development and testing of new military aircraft. It is famed as the subject of many UFO conspiracy theories.

In Search Of,a show in the 70s went there and they were testing jet engines then. Some aircfraft are specially built to test different things, while not giving away what the final craft will look like.

If you breach any security area , you will be stopped at gunpoint and they are loaded guns that they will use if it is called for . Then you will be transported to a location where you will be interrogated and so they can look up your history from day 1 . You really do not want this expeerience , you wouldn't like it .
