Some printers print what is seen on the screen, however, because of the angle, settings on your screen, they may not be what you expect. If you are using a programme such as PSstudio, go to Enhance, and brighten or darken to get the result you are after. You get used to what is necessary very quickly.

Maybe time for a better printer. I started off with a less than perfect Lexmark. It was doing the same thing you say; upgraded to a HP printer and now am happy as can be.

Think about it.
