There are in basic terms too many man or woman cultures that acceptable the countless religions that then divide human beings. i think of if shall we in basic terms type a faith based upon respiration in & exhaling, we could have the potential to get absolutely everyone jointly on that. yet even then some cranks might decide for to combat...

No, there is no subject that can be a source of unity for religions, as they are diametrically opposed. They all differ, only one (or none) can possibly be correct.

Thats a good question......I think it should be.......also a great way to kickstart a good religious brotherhood movement. Maybe I don't count in this section, as many here have stated atheists do not belong in R&S section of Yahoo answers. I beg to differ....but one thing we all have to do is care about our surroundings and leave the back & forth bantering aside for the sake of loved ones and future loved ones. Thank.....again great question.

The splintering of religious belief happened around the time of Abraham, and has been getting more pronounced since.

You would think so, but unfortunately there are individuals from lots of different religions who still don't give a rat's @$$ about the environment.

Very good church-going folk who don't feel it necessary to recycle, avoid aerosols, who litter, etc. Too bad, huh. Good ques., btw.

You're asking...what? If we can all rally around saving the earth, no matter our faith?

It is human schisms--schisms between self and God, and the resultant schisms between self and others--that are laying waste to this world. It is as it should be, this being a fallen world. More and more we shall see the mounting evidence.

This was so when the Goddess was the main deity. People from all over Europe, the middle east and asia honored the goddess who in many ways represents mother earth,
