the green mounld on the side of stale bread and cheese is said to be penecillin. if this is so is is safe to eat as a anti biotic?? or would it do you harm??

No, you should never eat mouldy food. It may be penicillin but it's also a bacteria and not good. Throw away any bread that has the slightest green mould on it. If the cheese is a large block, you can cut off the mouldy piece, but the spoors of mould penetrate 1 and a half inches into the cheese so you would have to cut off a bit piece of it to be safe.
If the item of food has got to that stage where mould is growing on it, then it really has no goodness left in it whatsoever, so don't eat it.
