In the most technical sense, Methodists are a branch of Catholicism. Sort of like a second cousin twice removed or something.
They are actually first in line at the moment for reunification with the Holy See. Or at least they were last I heard.
Primarily, what separates Catholics from Protestants is the Pope and believe in the Real Presense of Christ in the Eucharist. Though some Anglicans, Methodists and Lutherans are changing their thoughts about the Eucharist only being "representative" of Christ.
Protestant bibles differ by 6 books from Catholic bibles. Martin Luther was the first to start pulling books from the bible because they contained text that supported Catholic dogma. The original bible King James commissioned for his church contained all the same books as its Catholic cousin. Those 6 books were pulled by non Anglican Protestants some 200 years later.
Baptists believe you are only really Christian when you are baptised into the faith after your personal profession of said faith.
That's it, really. In a nutshell.

Traditionally, methodists and catholics are similar.
Methodists though have had a more structural/methodical approach to worship, hence the derivative of the name.
Relatively speaking, Baptists are more 'emotional' in their worship since they sing more vibrant and fervent praise and worship songs.
Out of the three, Catholic priests practise celibacy.
Also, Methodist and Catholic Priests and preachers need to go to theological school in order to be ordained while it may not be necessary in the Baptist faith to do so.
However, though different versions of Christianity, they all share the common love for God and once you worship worship with all your heart it won't matter which faith you belong to.

"What separates us as believers in Christ is much less than what unites us." (Pope John XXIII)
Almost all important doctrine is completely agreed upon between Catholic Christians and other Christians.
Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):
By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.
There are many minor doctrine issues and some major cultural traditional differences which, I believe, do not matter that much.
A Catholic worships and follows Christ in the tradition of Catholicism which, among other things, recognizes that Christ made Peter the leader of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor.
With love in Christ.

These sects were all started by a man or groups of men to perpetuate their own idealogy and understanding of the scriptures. Ironically, the practices and teachings of today's churches do NOT conform to the Bible, and promote such errors as infant baptism, celibacy, praying to Mary, the Trinity belief, disbelief in continued revelation from God, being saved by grace alone, etc. In that light, they're all the same - religions of men and not Christ. As to individual differences, a little research on the Internet re comparative religions should yield specifics. Try religionfacts.com for a start.

Not much at all. Although some will definitely argue with that. Christians need to stick together and not argue about the issues that seperate us( I think Timothy, see bible) but unite in JESUS CHRIST.
