They both will preform the same since XP is XP the diffrence however is the Pro Edition offers more security then the Home edition.

xp home is good so is xp pro if its a home pc then use xp home it dont use as much as xp pro on start up xp por use a lot of pc. you can still use xp home for online games. Western Digital there not so good id go for a other hard drive not Western Digital

Always go Prof. Home is the biggest waste of money ever. You cannot network with Home.
