I guess they're trying to tap into a new market and convey the impression of a healthy, oaty not anything like Weetabix sort of product but is misleading name. I can't eat wheat and got quite excited about being able to eat breakfast cereal again. Then I saw the ingredients include wheat.

'I' stands for iccle & 'A' stands for alot
So Oatibix has a iccle bit of oats
Whereas Oatabix would have to have alot
Cuts down the cost of production !

Because of the ''Oh Right Yah'' type that thought it up; his Mummy used to say ''eat your Oaties'' instead of eat your porridge...Hence Oati.

Well it's a different product, so no, not really. Why, is because it's made with oats and not wheat.
