This is a little redundant but drop it occasionally. The other thing that I do is I take my daughter to her daycare 30 minutes early and just observe the way that they do things, if you go to http://nrc.uchsc.edu than you can look up your state daycare regulations and keep up on it that way as well, make your presence well known and if you're uncomfortable than look into getting into another daycare. Of course, your son could always be going through a phase. Your main warning signs are if you aren't allowed to go into the daycare at any time... you should never be denied unannounced entry and they should never prevent you from hanging around and observing. I do it 2 out of 4 days of the week. Also remember that no matter what daycare you put your son in, you are always going to be a little bit wary, it's the maternal intstinct where we don't like leaving our children with anybody else, we want them to be with us and only us because then we know they are 100% taken care of and happy, find what is the best situation from you and stay with it.

If it is a new activity for him at this daycare, he could just be getting used to the place. It's possible one of the assistance is new to the daycare as well. Talk to him, talk to the daycare. I agree with the other mom's as well, pop in one day on your lunch just to check in. If any of the workers act strange because you did, look deeper into it. If all is well then they shouldn't give you any worry at all when you show up.

I don't know how old he is but this needs to be addressed immediately. If you really don't trust the daycare ,,,, change daycare providers. To much crap is happening in this society to our innocent kids to mess around with investigating. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you.

I would drop into the daycare unannounced just to see what is going on there. You didn't say if it was a home daycare or public one. Also, depending how old he is, you need to question him about how he is acting. It is definitely something to check out.

If he is old enough to speak you can ask him. If he is not old enough, I would suggest dropping in randomly without calling to see what is going on. Also tell the director of your daycare concerns. If the director doesn't care or doesn't think there is a problem and you still think there is something not right going on, contact your pediatrician and they can help you know the next step.

Take him out of daycare if you have any doubts. I cannot imagine letting a child continue in a situation that you believe could be harming him.

not a mother yet but a friend visits her child,s day care when they are not expecting her,to see if her baby is okey. you can have your hubby or a friend do that for you if your work wont allow that.besides, children change a lot,if its your first baby ,you will worry so much cos you are new.again,no one can care, love and tolerate your child as much as you.
