I've read so much on here from those who don't and call us fanatics, I just wondered how many wonderful people out there had really felt Him in their heart.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. He is my Father, my Teacher, my Lover, my Bestest Friend, my Master, my Savior, and my King. In short, He is my life and my everything.

Yes, I believe in Jesus not only as an important historical figure that changed the world but as my personal Savior. I can feel Him in my heart whenever I read His word & pray to Him. I can feel Him leading me when I'm at work at the hospital caring for the sick and/or dying or whenever I need to find the right words to say to a troubled person. I can feel Him counseling me when I just don't know what to do or think in my own life. I try daily to "walk as He walked". I'm not a fanatic, just a very flawed person saved by the grace of God.

I am not sure he ever existed, and if he did exist, there is no way the stories are true. There would have been more written about him feeding thousands of people and curing the sick. It would have cause hysteria and people would have flocked to him, and that would have caused more writings than the bible.

If he did exist I think he had good intentions, but he's is gone now.

Absolutely. If you don't know Jesus, you have no peace. ONLY because He is in my heart can I deal with the cares of this very temporary life on earth.

Passage John 3:16:

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

...Yes. I placed my faith in Jesus as my Lord and Savior 28 years ago. My hopes for Heaven rest entirely on His finished work on the cross and His resurrection. He has given me a reason to live and I know I will be with Him when life is over.
...The Christian life is not a crutch, but an entire life-support system, and there is no better deal on earth than a relationship with Him.
...I urge all readers to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
...Remember, whosoever will, may come.

If by "believe in" you mean that he was an actual historical person, I'm skeptical, but open-minded if you show me some evidence he existed, other than the bible, or the vague mention by Josephus.

If you mean that he was a human manifestation of a god, rose from the dead and floated up to heaven....then no.

And by the way, I'm a wonderful person too. So you have a great day.

EDIT
I like to try and guess how many thumbs down my honest answers to honest questions will get. I usually underestimate your intolerance.
You people really must be unsure of your faith if you need to constantly reassure each other how "great Jesus is". The comfort of group support in the face of overwhelming evidence that your beliefs are delusional.

I believe he was a very smart historic person who tried to better the people who lived amongst him, and the only way he could do that was by using religion as a means, not as a goal. The only message he tried to bring forth was: "Know yourself, and be kind to others". Unfortunately people took his ideas, twisted them to their own needs and now use them to belittle other people, degrade other people, attack other people and stop them from thinking for themselves. Shame.
