have thought about checking the fuses , but i`m unsure of what i`m looking for or how to tell which one may off blown/ be causeing the problem.

all done , there was an information box on the under side of the fuse box cover , that corresponded to all the fuse`s , luckily i had an old golf to take a fuse from .

For so many things to go at once it must be a fusible link and not a fuse. On most cars the fusible links are usually in the positive + battery lead under some tape near the battery terminal,. You will have to remove the tape, test the fusible links with a multimeter (there will be more than one) and find which one has blown. When you know which one has gone you will have to de-solder it to remove it and solder a new one of the same rating in it's place.

Do yourself a favor and buy some fuses..they're super cheap and that way you dont have to depend on a fuse that has been in use for an unknown amount of time. Just make sure and use a fuse with an amperage rating of equal value (or lesser if it's all you've got.)

sounds like a fuse has blown..take it to a garage.

It must be electrical so check the fuse....you should always carry spares...

I think a wire in the harness that goes through the hinge area has broken.

an electrical fauly , like a short or a burnt out relay
