if you really think there's no future in it...just tell him honestly and say that you dont see a future. So, it's best that both of u move on healthily and build on your own lives with new friends. That said....do you still love him or are you prepared to let go of this 101%? No turning back whatsoever? If you've decided, then walk on and dont look back. I've done it, we parted peacefully because i was just sincerely honest with him and said this really isnt going to work and it's no point wasting our time and life away. If he still doesnt listen...then it's not your responsibility to bail him out. He should be matured enough to come out of it after some time...

I believe that if you really love him you should not break up with him, even if your moving away. If you still decide to not be with him then just tell him exactly what you think, what's on your mind, and let it be. Tell him you just want to be friends and that time will tell if you guys should be together or not. It sounds like you were his first love, when some one breaks up for the first time they always think " Oh, i'll never fall in love again." Time and distance will change his mind.

He is just trying to keep you.. He will find another girlfriend in time. Right now he is just broken-hearted.. Give him a hug say sorry and if you must really move on then that is what you need to do. You can try to keep the relationship going but I don't know about you but long-distance relationships don't work well with me.

Did you break up with him because of you moving or because you have no feelings for him? If your answer is yes to the second question and no to the first, I say move on. If its vise versa, I say stay with him, and see how it works out. A lot of long distance relationships work out.

you both will find friends wherever you are-deep relationships happen over time, and healing as well to loss of one moving-can still be friends by phone, writing, or pc...
