DON'T LISTEN TO THESE WOMEN LISTEN TO ME...
everything so far has sucked in terms of truly caring for black hair.
be careful with oils, too much can be irritating and clog pores and suffocate your scalp. Essential oils like olive or avacado one a week is good with a dash of peppermint oil will rejuvenate your scalp.

Miss Jessie's Curly Butter Cream is the BEST out there and I have looked around a lot. also check out www.motowngirl.com if you are looking for natural styling options and www.missjessies.com as well.

I am biracial so I have dry hair that most people call "pretty hair"- yea ok! (smile) anyways on my self and my soon who's father is black we use Optimum care light weight hair dressing. it is in a small tub and I get it at target. there is also the regualar hairdressing that is white...that works good. On just myself I use Joico Kpax reconstructor and also the moisturizer treatment. it is expensive and only at salons but it works....I used to use only black products but i found that universal products work better! good luck!

hey, personally i wouldnt touch lusters pink if it was the last thing on earth!
i use kids PCJ and oil my scalp with kera care dry and itchy or optimum light oil dress.
i find that the best thing you can do is wrap your hair at night with a satin head scarf. i did this before my hair was treated and my hair is thick, black and moisturised, but better than that it is healthy and has movement.
olive oil is also good for hair sheen not so good for the lotion.

avoid products with the first ingredient as water, aqua they can be drying. xx

Try putting olive or coconut oil, egg yolks, or avocado in your hair like once or twice a week and leaving it on for about half an hour. Or maybe try a leave-in conditioner in addition to your regular conditioner. Hope this helps =)

My hair was course and dry a lot, and I put a miracle, lol. Seriously though, go to Sally's and tell them your looking for silk drops for dry hair. It's great, and smells wonderful. After you take a shower, pour some of this in your hand and work through your hair, and dry as normal. Your hair will be like silk. Hope it helps, it did mine.
