What about neither?

I hate being proselytized to by Christians, and I am saddened by the irrational, ignorant hatred some Christians spout, but I don't hate Christians or the Christian God.

I cannot hate God as I do not accept the hypothesis of his existence. Emotionally, I am ambivalent to all deities. Do you hate Zeus? Do you hate Odhinn? If not, you understand how I feel regarding your take on the divine.

I do not hate the believer either. Every person on this planet is doing the best they can with the information they have available. Because everyone has different experiences, everyone will come to different life conclusions. I respect those who life their life by the principles they have found or hold to, and do so with respect for others.

I do, however, hate religion and faith. I believe that all things should be challenged in the harshest of ways before we accept them. If someone comes up to you and asserts, "one plus one equals two," and you have never heard this before, then you should challenge them with absolute refusal to accept it unless you have reason to respect their view point or they provide sufficient evidence to remove doubt... maybe not completely, but at least to satisfaction. I hate any thought or belief that has not been put to this test, either by myself or others, and yet is accepted as true.

I hate the sins of prejudice and discrimination... not the sinner. :) But that's a play on what I consider a rediculously passive-aggressive cliche.

I don't hate either. I believe that religion is used as an excuse for many personal prejudices (outright teaches some) and is a deterence for seeking an internal moral compass. In other words, way too much emphasis on judgment and way too little on peace, valuing differences, and accepting that all are equal.

Neither. There are some believers I might hate and no gods I believe in. I can't lump all the believers together though.

I don't hate a god because i don't believe in one. As for the believers its up to them. The only ones i take a dislike to are the ones who try and impose their religion on to other people, or who make nasty or stupid comments. Then i have to retaliate.

I don't hate God or the believers. Everyone is free to worship and believe as they wish, or not at all.

God doesn't bother me. He isn't telling me that I can't buy beer on Sunday, that I can't gamble outside of a riverboat, and that I can't hire a prostitute. His believers, however, are.

So, the believers bother me.

Although, I have to admit that if the Christian god is real, then I would have some issue with such a genocidal, petty, jealous, confused being. I'd have to ask him why he thought that slaughtering children was the right thing to do when all they did was make fun of a bald man. I'd have to ask him why he thought Lot's family was not wicked when Lot offered his daughters to be raped--daughters which later raped Lot.

I don't hate God, but I'd be concerned about his state of mind.

God doesn't exist and believers are just misguided children.

I dislike the dogma and doctrine of the believers.

When one Believes in Jesus, one seperates oneself from Jesus by believing in Jesus.

When one believes Jesus, without the in, one then unites their soul with the Soul of Jesus.

Drop the "IN" and just Believe Jesus Teachings! Add the "IN" and you must also add doctrines, dogmas, rules, regulations, and 10,000-article catechisms to the Purity of Jesus.
