I'm covered by rash and spend my time connecting the (red) dots just to keep my mind of it. My doctor prescribed Allegra and a creme, but I don't feel it's helping. What's going on? Why does Prozac cause rash?

I stopped taking it two weeks ago, BTW, and only took it for five days. Thanks, you guys.

Sounds like you are allergic to Prozac. That is definitely not one of the more common side effects. I'm glad your doctor took you off of it. I agree with the person who said take Benadryl. Any allergic skin rash reacts very well to it. There is also topical Benadryl.

An allergy medicine is the best thing for it. Although they usually recommend Benadryl. But I suppose Allergra could work. That's about the only thing you can do. You just have to let the rash run it's course and eventually it will go away. In the mean time try taking a relaxing oatmeal bath. That will help to ease some of the discomfort you are feeling. Aveeno makes a great oatmeal bath. Good luck.
