The Church of Christ, Scientist, often known as the Christian Science church, is a Christian denomination that arose in New England in the late nineteenth century. It has about 2,000 branches (local churches) in over 70 countries, with The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts being the denomination's headquarters.
The church was founded by the American, Mary Baker Eddy, in 1879 following a personal healing in 1866, which she claimed resulted from reading the Bible.[1] She called this experience "the falling apple" that led to her discovery of Christian Science. She was convinced that "the divine Spirit had wrought the miracle — a miracle which later I found to be in perfect scientific accord with divine law." (Ret 24) She then spent the next three years investigating the law of God according to the Bible, especially in the words and works of Jesus. The Bible and Eddy's textbook on Christian healing, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, are together the church's key doctrinal sources and have been ordained as the church's "dual impersonal pastor.

if you ask anyone who isnt a christian what those rooms are they will tell you they are a false teaching room of science and that they teach science from the bible which is a oxymoron at best. science and christianity should not be put in the same sentence at any time. christian reading rooms are to teach falsehoods only and to spread more lies about there religion than there is already out there.

"Christian Science" is a Protestant denomination. Their "reading rooms" are sort of a bookstore/library/evangelization tool.

expect to get brain washed...it is really that simple...very dangerous cult if it is the same one as the one Ron L. Hubbard started. He started it as a joke. Do your research. It was never supposed to be a real religion. Like all of them they want your money and your brain so you will continue giving them money.
