He is a ex for a reason do not start the communication again unless your looking to reconnect. If he is the one that ended it then for sure don't say happy b day because it will just make you look like your still chasing him like a puppy that gets kicked and comes crawling back

Oh boy. I have the same situation going on!!!
I figure...I can email him an ecard or something, he doesn't have to answer back, I dont really care for a reply...but the type of person that I am...I have to send something...I know my strength I know that if we communicate again, it'll be alright, because I am not willing to put myself through the hurt I felt once.
It's really up to you, YOU are the only one who can determine if you're strong enough to see what could happen after, if he replies or not...how will it feel.

I feel ya sister....I sent my ex a birthday card a few months back. In it I also wrote a letter about how although the end was painful it was worth it in the end because it made us better people....I also told him that i was getting married......a few days after his birthday, i find out that he just proposed to his girlfriend....I wonder if my letter had anything to do with that? My point- It does open wounds.....painful wounds.....they were a big part of your life, and it hard to let go sometimes.....
Take my advice...don't send him a happy birthday wish.....

Send him a text message. I was with this guy for 3 years and lived with him for two, now I've been with his friend for the past 8 years and we all get along great! Even my ex-boyfriends new girlfriend hangs out with us all. Anyway, yeah send him a text message, there's no harm in that

you're no longer dating no count how lots you experience for him who cares I forget approximately acquaintances Bdays all of the time, specially reason Im a guy and dates propose absolute **** to me, and then in basic terms ones i will remember are of my relatives, reason consistantly according to annum while i replaced right into a toddler we had there party... so except you're married or dating longterm dont assume an ex to fuc king care, reason truthfully what does a birthday propose, you have been born X-quantity of years priot to right away, who cares, take excitement in your self and dont think of too lots females's perfect downfall

HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU!!!! If you do communicate with him you are going to get hurt. He doesn't want to be with you or else he would be. Also.. just from having guy friends I know that they think moves like that are soo pathetic.. they will think you are so desperate and laugh as they show it around to all their friends. Save your pride MOVE ON!!!!

NO! You 2 are done, move on. He won't appreciate your efforts and may see them as annoying, let it go! Your friends are right listen to them, they love and care for you and know you better than you think!
