I am not a psychiatrist, so I am certainly not qualified to answer this but for teh sake of conjecture:

No, he is not OCD, nor neurotic (neurotic is not a current DSM diagnosis). He does not obsess about things beyond terrorism, and even then, I don't really think he stays up all night thinking about evildoers in an obsessive context. I have not ever heard of GWB's compulsive behavior either. He does not do things like chect to see if the stove is on all the time.

I am not certain what neurosis GWB might have other than megalomania, perhaps. But he does not strike me as a narcissist either. He has a very black and white view of the world, which is consistint with narcissism, but he never much striked me as a feeling particular superior.

This polar view of the world si problematic, I think, in that he sees only good and evil, black and white, right and wrong - and ofcourse he thinks whatever he is doing is right - but don't we all. Furthermore, this polarity is supported by his, and many other Americans, religious ideology.

GWB I think suffers from being in over his head in a profession he is not qualified for with a presidential cabinet which has manipulated him so that he feels in charge, when in fact they are.

GWB might be considered a bad president, but I do not think we can excuse his incompitence for a mental illness. Rather, he is an average joe in a very unique position - which requires people with both talent and experience.

Ironically, I think that his ability to relate with average people (he sure would make a nice neighbor-attitude) is exactly what got him into office.

Honestly, I think the only thing G W needs to do is go back on his meds: start drinking again! This way we can at least say the ridiculous things coming out of his mouth is just the booze talking...

I think he has "Howdy-Doody-itis."

He ought to be called "Dumya" instead of "Dubya"

I voted for him the first time around because I thought he would be like his father (he was no peach but oh well), but I would have voted for the family dog over him last time.
