I don't always make the best of my holidays and I really need a break this winter. 3 weeks off in the sun. As a single, straight male what i am looking for is a place where it is easy to meet others. Sun and something to keep me occupied.

So sex, sun, history, fishing, night life.......

Done New Zealand, Australia, Canary Islands.

Ideas please!

thanks

The Greek Islands - mainly Santorini, Mykonos, Paros and Naxos. You will get all you want plus more. Mykonos is noted for its gay guys (but if there were any there, we didn't notice). There is also apparently an island that is called the party island - you may need to check a Greek website for this.

This way you can go to many different places as these islands are just hours away from each other, cheap ferry rides and you see so much. Out of all of Europe, it was the best time we had EVER!!!

Try the Florida Keys! Sunny, warm and the tourist season is between Thanksgiving until about Easter. I would usually go during the Summer months in the off season. Spent part of my childhood there and there is so much history! Since you want to meet people this is a good place for you.

Try the Carribean. Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands (St. Thomas is the liveliest) or Dominican Republic. The DR has several "all inclusive" resorts. Check into those and see if you find a place that is for singles or a "no children" resort. That should help you find a place that is not attracting families and increase your chances of meeting someone.

As a single straight guy myself, and having just returned from the Algarve last week where we had nothing but 26 degree sunshine for the whole 10 days, I'd have to recommend that - though do as I did, and rent a private villa.

Come to Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean during late January and early February. This is major party and Carnival season. Not to mention T&T has many beautiful women. The people are friendly and accepting and you're bound to find people to hang out with.

Trinidad is for the partying and nightlife, Tobago is for the sand sea and sun. They both count as one country and together they make one great vacation, especially during Carnival.

Go online and see if it's up your alley.

I would also suggest Cape Town in SA, it's a buzzing city, and most people over there are very very friendly, there's tonnes to do in the city, and loads of places to visit as well like the Aquarium, Robben Island, Table Mountain. You'd love it!!

it quite is have been given to be Turkey. as nicely as large seashores and sunlight shine it has historic attractions everywhere jointly with Epheses that's a could see. meals is stunning - I even have on no account had a bad meal there - and it quite is a lot greater inexpensive than something of Europe (ok, formally it quite is not in Europe yet close to adequate to no longer remember). it is likewise possible to flow to a pair of greek islands on an identical time as you're there. in case you do no longer want night golf equipment packed with club sixteen-18s and intercourse on the coastline, maximum suitable sidestep Gumbet and Marmaris. Bodrum is stunning for the time of the day yet very very noisy at night. Hisoranu is like Blackpool with out the sea - hell - notwithstanding it quite is a enormous u . s . and that they do shop their fool vacationers nicely restricted! i admire Bitez that's close to adequate to Bodrum for journeys for the time of to Kos and Rhodes and the relaxing of a buzy bustling city yet has a large coastline of its very own, staggering eating places and adequate journeys to maintain you busy for a month! it quite is variety of greater 'grownup' than a number of the different hotels - so no longer such quite some screaming teenagers the two.

What about the South of France? You can even enjoy the motoring down there - take a few days over it. And become a member of the YHA (there's no age limit) as they have excellent hostels and there will be others like you staying at them.
