i'm from the cogic and the old way of holiness was a inside and outside thing but now the church feels thats it's ok to wear anything and still be saved when the bible clearly says that it is an abomination i know this because in the bible it says that the priset wore breeches which is pants look it up ya'll and men were the oly ones that could be preist so why do we feel its ok god neaver changes although we do he loves holiness why do we allow mc donlles to give us a dress code but when the cogic says that women should not wear pants they march out the church you know if you really loved god then nothing that they ask you to do will be so great that it will seperate you from the holiness of god espealy if you are cogic because bishop mason belived and taulght holiness if he was alie to do he would not be happy with the church so what i say if yoy don't believ in holiness or dress the way that he set from the bible then you are not cogic because he founded please live holy

humm...i was COGIC for 30 years and always wondered about the dresses v. pants issue myself. I wore skirts all the time , too. Now things are different.
Although you say it is an abominiation....where does it say that in the bible, specifically?
Just like so many other doctrines, man will take a scipture from the bible, change it around, add his own interpretation and opinion, and conform a whole group of people to believe it.
Now that Im wiser, i realize that wearing pants will not keep you from heaven and is not a sin....no where in the bible does it refer to this.
The truth of the matter is, if you are a part of a church in which wearing pants is considered wrong, then you have to abide by that . Not becuz it is a sin to wear pants, but becuz it is disobediant to the doctrine set forth at the church you are committed to serving.
Holiness is a lifestyle...they way you live, think, carry yourself..living a life that lines up with the word of God... holiness is NOT a dress code.
some of the most annointed women ministers I know minister in pants.....be blessed!!

We are not under the law of the old testament. If you study the culture of the days the book of Deuteronomy, the men wore skirts, which in mentioned 12 times in the same book. Furthermore Bishop Mason is not a conduit to salvation no more than Martin Luther King can find you a job. Study your word and seek God, HE alone will direct your path.
