a disease that makes your bones weak. you fight it by taking calcium or drinking a lot of milk while you are still young.
it mainly affects old people, and their bones become so fragile that they are really prone to breaking.

Its a condition where the bones become less dense. They become weak and porous. There are medications out there to help rebuild bone density like Boniva, Actonel, Fosimax. osteoporosis is the leading cause of fractures in the older population. Taking calcium supplements early can also help.

osteoporosis is a problem with your bones. it usually happens with elderly ppl. the bones dont have enough calcium as it should. in other words, b healthy and drink milk. osteoporosis is one word, even though i dont remember how to spell the porosis part, if i didnt spell it right already.

basically weakning of your bones. ie the density of your bones come down due to leaching of calcium..
