I do not follow Any religion. I follow my Heart.
I know that what ever I do , with others or to others or in life, or with life, effects everyone and yet mostly effects me.
I do not believe in a punishment from God.
There is only Love for us , within God. For God is Love. Perfect Love.
Love is Not conditional. It does Not put conditions on sharing its Love.
Wether we want it or not, God Loves us and shows it everyday. By sharing Existance with us. Individually, we seek and walk and talk and exist in the moment of Now. There are no chains on our brains nor souls.
Nor would God place any on us. There is Only Love.
And when we see God for what It is, then Joy becomes Our House of Knowing.
Yet I also respect those whom DO follow Religion, for they are on the path to there own Truths.
We all Find our way to God in our own way. If He did not Love us, then He would want us to Go One way ONLY.
But instead He does Love us, and Allows more then One path to His Heart.

"Spiritual" is a form of faith. Faith by itself is a lonely operation in life. Community is necessary, both for fellowship, but also for accountability. Community (church) keeps me from wandering off into my own little ideas, and keeps me 'right' with the Word of God.
"Spiritual" can also be dangerous because you can get into stuff that is harmful to you. I am sure that there are spiritual people that are not part of an organized religion, like Oprah. But even Oprah led an organized religious event right after 9/11!

i am a spiritualist and since spiritualism isnt a religion but a way of life accepting all things equaly and studying the teachings of all religions that are out there. spirituality is in itself a moral and sound based belief that all religions have there good and bad teachings in them. spiritualist do not follow a god or even read the bible or quran or any so called holy books we accept a creator that is in all things. we accept human nature as it is. we also believe in animals having souls and trees have souls too. this is one reason why spiritualist are getting a bad rap is because christians steal the idea that they are also spiritual when there is nothing spiritual about christianity because they believe in a omnipresent god when we as spiritualist dont.
a true spiritualist does not go to church either we do not have temples or places of worship that isnt in the belief of what we are.
pangel you are not a spiritualist if you go to any type of church sorry that isnt how it works

I'm agnostic but I consider myself spiritual. I've come to believe that organized religion is bogus.

I tend to call myself a NeoPagan Taoist, but that's just a description of my own brand of spirituality. There is most certainly nothing organized about it!

if you mean those who have been freed from the serpent seed, there are lots of them found in the New Jerusalem.
One can only be considered spiritual, if he has surrendered the serpent seed, believed in Jesus Christ as the Father who now reigns through His Appointed Son.

Not only that, but it's my contention that organized religion is actually a death-blow to true spirituality. It seizes on the spiritual impulse in man and reduces it to mere bigotry and closed-mindedness, generally with the idea of exploiting that mentality for the financial gain of the "religious leaders" and their associates in secular politics.
