I'm NOT going to hell as hell, like heaven, doesn't exist ... Neither does the soul.

No go peddle your rubbish somewhere else

I was raised Catholic, consciously and personally accepted Christ at about 13, 14, somewhere around there, it made a huge change to my life, and by about 19 or 20, I had learned too much to continue beliving the lie. Between learning Judism and the messianic prophecies and seeing that Jesus failed some and outright broke others, and seeing that the deific hypothesis made no sense considering this universe's inability to support the free-will hypothesis, I realized that religion was all bunk. So, now I'm an atheist.

Thanks for your concern.

Oh, and by the way... according to your Bible, you're not to 'win souls'. You're to witness. A St. Francis said, "Live your life to witness. If necessary, use words." Your God wins souls and saves them. Your job is to do nothing more than live as Jesus taught you to live, and when necessary say, "Hey, I believe in God, I think he's great, would you like to hear about him?" If the answer is yes, you teach, if the answer is no, you shake the dust from your feet and leave peacefully.

If you are going to be a Christian, at least follow the teachings of Jesus.

The Bible tells us to go out into the world and preach the gospel. That means winning souls. I know that a lot of people don't want to hear it, but I try to live in a way that I draw people to me. I try to live like Jesus. (showing love, caring and concern. I treat people right!) Than I tell them through my conversation about Jesus. I give them my life story and tell them how I survived. Only by the grace of God! Once you put it out there, it's up to them. We can not make anyone choose to live for GOD!

Thank you JESUS that you died for me.

I was born into a Christian life, and have been a Christian all the way through. I was raised by good loving Christians, and my Christian up-bringing stuck. So this "being re-saved" is a foreign concept to me.

I can tell you that I believe that while God DOES want us all to love and follow Him, He wants us to do it of our own free will.....that's why He gave it to us. Self proclaimed Christians who go around beating others over the head with their views, demeaning others because they have different beliefs, and trying to drag others kicking and screaming the the altar for baptism only give us "normal, level headed" Christians a bad name. Christ wants us to share our faith with others. But for those who choose not to accept it, all we are suppose to do is tolerate their differences, love them in spite of the differences, and pray for them that one day they will understand before it is too late. We do that by showing Christ's love in our daily lives, not by hell-and-damnation-preaching, rampant scripture quoting, or by wearing Christianity on-your-sleeve.

That's really wonderful that you want to spread the gospel, but honey, on this site they won't have much to say to you except that you need to learn how to spell and use proper grammar.

i agree with you most whole-heartedly, but keep in mind that if we shove scripture in people's faces, they will resent it and turn away from it! my method is to show god's love for me in my everyday actions, not necessarily spew forth scripture every second.

Yes, I think we should win souls for Jesus. Not always so easy to do.

Bless you and your life ahead.
