Ever since I was little, I've always gotten a sharp pain in my jaw when I start to eat. It's usually in the first couple of bites then it goes away. I wonder what it is and has anybody ever had this as well?

Does it do it every time you eat or just sometimes. If it's just sometimes then it's no big deal. It's just your jaw putting pressure on a nerve. If it happens every time you eat and you experience any clicking in your jaw with it then you could have TMJ. It's rather common and easily fixable. Just consult with your dentist if that's the case. If it's just sometimes and you have no other complications don't sweat it....it happens to everyone.

Stop popping your jaw. The joint swells up from the friction you are causing. You may be clenching your teeth due to stress at night or subconsciously during the day. Look up TMJ syndrome. Stress is a B. Learn to relax, seriously.

It actually sounds a lot like TMJ which is a very, very common problem I would do a little research on it and see if it sounds like the problems you are having.

You would possibly have to drink extra milk. The tooth on yuor tooth is also dressed in down and ingesting milk (or regularly drinking calcium) makes your tooth more potent. It is also some thing else. This is only a idea.

It happens to me as well, not very often but sometimes. Could be sensitivity, to food temperature for example, but I'm not sure. I just ignore it, I don't think it is serious.
