depends on the type of hanging, its stypically 5/8th on ceiling and 1/2 on walls, so if its for a house , you want to look at how many square feet, the difficulty of the hanging. like if its all 4'8 sheets, its going to be simple. hwoever if they have octagonal ceiling and 20 feet high arch ways and things of course you will be bidding it for more. For a simple house is typically 18-20 cents a sq.ft for a difficult it can go upwards around 26 cents a sq.ft. My hsband is an interiors systems designer thats the only reason i know this ♥ that is just for the hanging.... for the finishing its roughly the same charge as the hanging... so your total would come out to no no less than 38 cents and no more than 52 cents. We live in illinois however your state may vary on work prices.

on a big job, just double the cost of materials, on a small job then charge by the hour plus materials. if you don,t know how much to charge then you don,t need to do it. let them hire a professional
